From Bored and Stuck to Stronger and Motivated: Rachel’s Strength Training Journey with PT Club

Meet Rachel

Rachel is 59-years-old and from Archway who came to PT Club looking for strength training for women 40+ that actually works. Like many women over 40, she struggled to stay motivated and wasn’t seeing real progress. She wanted strength training that actually worked — without the boredom.

The Challenge

Before PT Club, Rachel had tried various fitness routines.
But each time, she hit the same wall: repetition, lack of results, and no enjoyment.
She was close to giving up altogether.

Why She Nearly Didn’t Start

Rachel was sceptical.
Would she just get bored again? Would it be another short-lived attempt with no progress?

The Turning Point

What changed everything was PT Club’s mix of:

  • Strength training for women 40+ is essential for maintaining bone health, energy, and confidence — especially during midlife.
  • Fun, varied classes each week

  • Monthly challenges that kept her engaged and progressing

For Rachel, it wasn’t just exercise — it was structure, support, and fun.

The Results

In just a few short months, Rachel noticed big shifts:

  • ✅ She felt stronger and more capable

  • ✅ She looked forward to working out again

  • ✅ She stuck to a routine that worked for her

Here’s what she had to say:

“The different types of classes combined with the monthly challenges has made it fun and suitably tough. I feel stronger, and while it hasn’t hugely impacted my life, it’s definitely been a positive.”
